Wonderful Doctor. Takes time with patients, and really cares about them. Wait time may be long, but knowing he will spend as much time as I need, don't mind it at all. He answers every question so I can understand it. He has cared for every member of my family, and I would not choose another doctor. I have seen him get rid of the patients who are after nothing but drugs, so if that is what you want, find another doctor who does not care. Dr. Sanner cares and wants what is best by the patient. If you are having pain, he can and will give you something, but if all your tests come back normal, and he cannot find any pain, then don't see him, he is going to see the lies, as he is not a drug dealer. Wonderful doctor and would highly recommend to everyone
If I could give this office 0 stars I would! The doctor is great per my mother, however his staff leaves much to be desired!!! I am disgusted at the way they treated my mother. First of all my mother did nothing wrong, she asked if they participated in a certain program, mind you she also had BCBS. Apparently, they didn't take it however the girl in the front didn't know this. Later, Jennifer Jones the office manager called my mom at 9am one morning, saying how they couldn't see her if she was using whatever program she asked about earlier. Being ridiculously rude!!! My mom had no issue with that considering it was temporary anyway. She already had her next appointment scheduled. She wrote Dr. Sanner a letter expressing her concerns along with how she appreciated his care, she sent this certified! We all know about certified mail, someone has to sign for it. We are pretty sure he did not ever see this letter. This brings us to Tuesday to her next appointment. She checks in and the lady at the front takes her co-pay, then as she's waiting a nurse (April Franklin) pulls her in the office and tells her "she's been fired!" Excuse me that's not even protocol. First of all a letter should have been sent with a recommendation for another doctor. Secondly, it's not FIRED it's DISMISSED! Third of all why take her co-pay at all, she did get that back. I'm not sure if Dr. Sanner is aware that his office is being ran in such poor fashion or if he just doesn't care, but either way this was handled poorly. They gave my mother a prescription for Naproxen for her knees and said she could still get it, because it wasn't a narcotic, this is what April the one that "fired" her said. So, guess what....today she receives a phone call from the pharmacy saying they denied the prescription, knowing she hasn't found another doctor and has no other way to get it filled. So, you "fire" a disabled patient with no notice, keep his certified mail and then deny a prescription you had given while she was under your care. This has malpractice written all over it. My mom was an LVN for 30 years so she knows protocol and I am also in the medical field. This is not about not wanting to see her its about how it was handled. No worries, we will be taking the next step against this practice. If you like rudeness go for it!!
Wait time was 45 mins past appoinment time even though I arrived 15 mins early. Doctor did little to nothing for me. No follow up. I have tried several times to contact the doctor regarding side effects of the medication he prescribed yet I never get called back. Dont waste your time with this doctor. After further investigation I found out Dr. Sanner is under order by the Texas Medical Board. Check him out with the Texas Medical Board online for all of the details. Save yourself the trouble I went through & find another doctor.
